Hello Beasterites! Captain Dude: The Superpower is hitting Netflix this month, so make yourself some popcorn and check out the movie! This movie will focus on Captain Lude (Elizabeth Banks) finally getting her superpowers. But where will she be able to get her powers from? The movie is a Christmas time based movie for big plot points and for continuity periods in the BFS. (Beaster Feature Story)
A few fan favorite villains will be in this movie as well. We don't want to give to much away, but we will tell you that Flexibolio (Kyle MacLachlan) will be the main villain of the movie. If you have read the comics you may already have an idea of what Flexibolio may do to the economy deliberately that needs to be stopped.
As well as Super Slim (Taron Egerton) appearing alongside Captain Dude (Chris Pine) in this movie, there will be lots of surprises. An innocent senior citizen in the city going by the name of Mrs. Miller (Carol Kane) appears to have brain problems with a negative history, and hasn't seen her kids in many, many years. She wants to be able to see them again for Christmas and Captain Dude and Super Slim try to help her in any way they can, but what may happen when Flexibolio gets a hold of her? A new never-before-in-comics story will be told in this movie, and it will have a lot of twists and turns.
You will be able to stream the movie when it releases on July 31st on Netflix, and maybe the night of July 30th... The famous Slim director, Sam Mendes, also returned to direct this movie, as well as composer John Powell doing new music for this movie. Also, make sure to keep the movie on during the credits. There is a very slim chance you will want to miss the scenes that are offered.
